The PATTON ARMY VEHICLE ASSOCATION has been participating for more than 20 years to the preservation of the Liberation’s historical patrimony. In this respect, it acquires and restores vehicles, more particularly armoured cars of the WWII period, with a view to presenting them during ceremonies or memorials that are contributing to the duty of memory towards the victims of war and towards the veterans.

Many classes, schools and other groups of attendees have been visiting the facilities in which are being presented the materials of Liberation that are constituting its permanent collections.

The PAVA presents you its collection of military vehicles. It specializes into armoured vehicles of the Liberation period. The restoration works are carried out by the members with a great concern for authenticity. Each vehicle is presented in perfect running state and entirely equipped.

The Association has been involved into many exhibits, events, commemorations and historic reconstitutions in France and abroad, for a long time now. The most important ones were the celebrations of the 50th and 60th anniversaries of the Normandy and Provence’s landings, as well as the liberation of Paris, via the disposal of several tanks, among others the famous SHERMAN "MONTMIRAIL",one of the first three tanks that entered Paris on August 25th, 1944.



The Association also participates in film making, television, publicity, theatre, video clips making, it furnishes vehicles for either individuals or corporations that are planning exhibitions. For this, the Association proposes its resources in men, material and has suitable transportation devices. As a matter of fact, the Association is in a position to gather tens of vehicles for historical reconstructions and any other important events.
